Alzforum comment on a new paper looking at the role of Tanycytes in the brain in tau clearance

The lab was approached by the editors of Alzforum to give a comment on a newly published medRxiv paper looking at the role of tanycytes in the brain; "Tanycytes are degraded in Alzheimer’s Disease, disrupting the brain-to-blood efflux of Tau", a fascinating piece of research looking to define the role of this unsual class of brain cell in the clearance of tau from the brain.

The paper we were asked to comment on is here, and our full comment along with those from other labs can be read here.
